About Us
Atal Utkrisht Ghananand Inter College Mussoorie is situated at 6000 feet height above sea level.It was established in 1929 by renowned businessman and social worker Radhaballabh Khanduri in the memory of his brother Late Ghananand Khanduri.Previously this school was constructed at 'Kohinoor Bhavan' at Landhour Cantt. In 1930 it was shifted to the present location at Kinkraig Estate, which is spread across 30 acres of land. It was gifted by Radha Ballabh Khanduri to School management.Later in 1945, it was affiliated to UP Board and taken over by then UP government.
In 2021,this school was selected as an 'Atal Utkrisht School', and affiliation was changed from Uttarakhand Board to CBSE Board.In the school premises there is the Main Academic block,Science laboratory block,Sub-junior block,hall,MDM block,assembly ground and a vast ground for football and Volleyball.
